Event: Ladder Safety Month

The American Ladder Institute (ALI) created National Ladder Safety Month to raise awareness of ladder safety and to decrease the number of ladder-related injuries and fatalities.

Event: Lifesavers National Conference on Highway Safety

Lifesavers is seen as the premier conference to learn about the latest highway safety research, best practices, and cutting-edge initiatives and strategies used to combat risky driving behaviors and save lives.

April

Event: National Work Zone Awareness Week

This is an annual campaign held at the start of construction season in Spring to encourage safe driving through highway work zones. The key message is for drivers to use extra caution in work zones.

Event: Construction Safety Week

Construction Safety Week is a show of force, to work together and celebrate the hard work by people in the construction industry who make safety the foundation of everything they do.

Event: National Electrical Safety Month

The Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI) sponsors National Electrical Safety Month to promote electrical safety at home and in the workplace.

Event: Mental Health Month

This month long campaign by Mental Health America focuses on mental health across the country and encourages individuals and businesses to take part.
